Tuna Frittata
Ingredients
- 1 can of white tuna natural tuna
- 6 eggs
- 100g of grated cheese
- 60ml of milk
- 1 onion
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon oil

The cooking steps for a tasty recipe with canned white tuna in natural:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, grated Gruyère cheese, salt and pepper until the mixture is homogeneous.
- In an ovenproof skillet, heat the olive oil to medium heat and cooked the chopped onion and 2 garlic until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add a can of drained and crumbled tuna to the skillet and mix it with the onion and garlic.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet,ensuring that all the ingredients are distributed uniformly.
- Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the edges start to peel offpan.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook the frittata for 10-12 minutes, until the top is set golden and the center is well cooked.
Houmous with canned sardines
Ingredients
- 1 can of sardines in extra virgin olive oil
- olive
- 400g chickpeas
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 tbsp. at s. sesame puree
- (tahini)
- 2 tbsp. at s. olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
The cooking steps:
- Drain the sardines in extra virgin olive oil and reserve the olive oil for later.
- Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
- Put the chickpeas in a blender, add the garlic, lemon juice, sesame puree, olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Mix until you get a smooth and creamy paste.
- Then add the sardines and their olive oil reserved. Mix again until you get a homogenous preparation.
- Add a pinch of paprika or cumin powder for a little more flavor.
- Serve with crunchy vegetables, toast or crackers.
Bagel with canned tuna
Ingredients
- 1 can of white tuna in natural
- 2 bagels cut in half
- 1/2 cucumber
- 100g fresh cheese
- 1 C. at s. lemon juice
- Chive
- Salt and pepper
The cooking steps:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- Cut the bagels in half and arrange them on a cooking plate. Put them in the oven and make them grill lightly, about 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine the previously drained tuna, cream cheese, lemon juice, a few sprigs of chopped chives, salt and pepper.
- Mix everything to obtain a preparation homogeneous.
- Remove the bagels from the oven and generously spread the tuna mixture on the bottom halves of the bagels.
- Add cucumber slices on top of tuna preparation.
- Add lettuce leaves, tomatoes cherry or red onions as desired.
- Close the bagels with the top halves and enjoy!
